Wendy’s Way is a podcast dedicated to helping you on your daily journey through Life. I hope to inspire, enlighten, educate, empower, motivate, and support you by sharing my story and the stories of others who will do the same for you. I have struggled with my weight and wellness for over 20 years and I finally feel like I am on the road to recovery and wellness. I want to share my highs and lows, my success and failure openly and honestly with all of you and hope that my story will give you the courage to change your story. I plan to interview everyday people who are on their wellness journey’s and learn from them and let their stories inspire and empower us all. I would like us all to realise we are never feel alone, there is help and support in so many ways, we just have to have to courage to ask for it and accept it. Wings of Destiny is a national Australian organisation, founded in 2015 by CEO Kate Worsfold based on her 15 years of experiencing domestic violence. Their clear purpose is to assist women who have experienced Domestic Violence to help them rebuild, recover and heal. Wings of Destiny’s objective is to provide tools and holistic resources for affected persons to live confidently with self-belief and empowerment; no longer defined by their past. Kate’s story is inspiring and humbling, Kate shares openly and honestly about all the challenges she has faced and how she lives everyday in the best way she can.

Bronwyn Bennett is a qualified Building Biologist, trained at the Australian College of Environmental Studies (ACES) under the guidance of Nicole Bijlsma. Bronwyn is a Practitioner Member, and current Treasurer of the Australasian Society of Building Biologists (ASBB).
Bronwyn can identify and address hazards (both hidden and obvious) within a building, which could be affecting your health and the health of your family. Reoccurring colds & flu, fatigue, headaches, insomnia, allergies, skin conditions, behavioural issues, infertility, poor memory, depression, are all symptoms that may indicate that your home or work place is making you sick. In this Episode I had the pleasure of speaking with Kylie Shotton from Better Way of Being. Kylie has a very special story to share, Kylie has a background in Nursing and life experience of her own with food, intolerances and digestive issues since 2002. This lead to study in nutrition and health coaching and a transition to the Wholefoods Industry where she has run food and wellness workshops for her local community and educated the general public on their nutrition journeys. In 2014 Kylie created a Better Way of Being as she saw a need to create a service to help individuals and families making a transition to a new food and diet lifestyle. Audra went back to study and changed careers and last year completed a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Nutritional Medicine. Audra has also recently graduated as a Functional Nutrition Consultant from the Changing Habits Functional Nutrition Academy based in Queensland, and became a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), a prominent natural medicine association that has been supporting natural health practitioners for over 30 years.
